Once you are ready to book, I'll email over your booking proposal. After I've received your submitted contract + session fee, your date is secured on my calendar. Depending on what type of session you are interested in, my calendar can fill up 2-3 months in advance, so don't wait!

All of my clients get session questionnaires, access to my styling site, & an appointment to view my Client Closet to begin planning wardrobe for your session. My Client wardrobe includes beautiful dresses for moms & dozens of outfits for babies and children. We'll work together to make sure that you feel & look great for your photos!
We'll also spend time discussing location & any personal preferences you might have for your session. Interested in custom wall art...we can also plan for that too!

Image reveal & ordering appointment
One of the BEST parts of this experience. You'll be welcomed back to the studio in 1-2 weeks after your session to view your beautiful images for the first time. During this appointment, we'll work together to choose your favorite images and to create custom products & artwork for your home that you'll get to enjoy every day!

Rebecca Joslyn Photography is located in Lafayette, Indiana conveniently off of Veterans Memorial Parkway and just 60 minutes north of Indianapolis. My studio contains everything (props, wraps, headbands, bonnets, etc.) that
we would need for your session. Your full-service experience also includes access to my growing client closet with dresses for moms & outfits for babies and young children.

A full-service portrait experience for Maternity, Newborn, Milestone, or Family in my Lafayette, IN studio or at a selected outdoor location in the Lafayette/West Lafayette area.
Studio newborn sessions capture all the tiny details of your new baby 9-16 days after birth. My studio is furnished with my extensive collection of props, wraps, bonnets, headbands, & outfits for babies.
Outdoor sessions are only available for Maternity, Milestone & Family sessions during the months of April-October. I schedule a limited amount of outdoor sessions each week to ensure that we can photograph your session when the weather & light are the best! Each outdoor session takes place approximately 1 hour before sunset.

I recommend booking your newborn session when you are in your second trimester. Sometimes I can fit in last minute bookings, but to ensure a spot make sure to book early! For all other sessions, make sure to reach out 2-3 months in advance.
I love and always try to schedule my outdoor sessions so that we are taking advantage of some of the best light in the day…that gorgeous, warm sunset light this is softer & more flattering than midday sun. I promise it’ll be worth it to shift your schedule if need be for a day to get those gorgeous photos!
Unfortunately, from time to time weather can play a factor in derailing our plans for your session. If on the day of your session we need to cancel due to rain or snow, there is no fee to reschedule to a different evening.
I get it…I’m a mom of 3 myself. Sometimes kids are unpredictable & tantrums are bound to happen. When this happens, we will simply take a break to give your child time to calm down. I always keep a little stash of treats in my bag just in case 😉
After your session, you will return to my studio within 1-2 weeks to see your images for the first time! At your reveal, you’ll choose your favorites and then decide what you would like to purchase (digital images, wall art, albums, etc.). Final products will be delivered approximately 2-4 weeks after the reveal.
